VIP progress is driven by total wager, not by deposits and not by profit. Each tier unlocks a reward set: rakeback, scheduled bonuses and a level up payout.
Levels, ranks, tiers and stages are four words for the same ladder. The list of rank names is below.

How the tier ladder behaves
Tiers are cumulative and they do not reset, so a slow player reaches the same rung as a fast one, later. Each rung costs more wager than the last, which is why chasing a tier is almost always more expensive than the reward at the top of it.

The rank names, in order
Stake groups the ladder into named ranks, and the higher groups repeat with numbers. The order below is what players call ranks, levels, tiers or stages.

VIP versus races
Races pay on rank inside a fixed window, so a mid volume player can place. VIP pays on cumulative wager, so it rewards time rather than a sprint. If you play small, the races are the more realistic target, and rakeback is the background rebate.
Why exact numbers are not listed here
Stake adjusts tier thresholds and reward percentages. Any table of exact figures on a third party page goes stale quietly, which is worse than no table. Check the VIP section in your account for the current values.
