How ranking works
Every eligible bet adds its stake to your race total. Win or lose does not matter. Two players who wagered the same amount sit in the same place on the board even if one is up and one is down.
That is why the race rewards turnover, and why low volatility, low house edge play with small stakes climbs the board slower in cash terms but survives longer.

Game weight
Game weight is set by Stake. Check the race page before you play. If a title is not listed there, count it as zero. Weights change between races, so a game that counted last week may count less this week.
The math before you grind
Cost to chase a race is your wager multiplied by the house edge of the games you use. A $50,000 turnover on a 2% edge title has an expected cost near $1,000. If the place you can realistically reach pays less than that, the race is not the reason to play.
Payout timing
Payouts land after the week or the month closes and Stake settles the board. Amounts are credited to the account balance. A leaderboard position visible mid race is provisional until the period ends.
